Management Team
Yayasan Kemanusiaan Muslim Aid Malaysia is governed by a Board of Directors that employs a hands-on approach on the daily running of the organization.

The Directors are supported by a group of full time staff and are also in consultation with a panel of advisors on matters pertaining to religion and the law.

Tan Sri Wan Mokhtar Ahmad

Born on March 21, 1932, Tan Sri Wan Mokhtar studied theology and education at the renowned Al-Azhar University of Egypt. He had carved a stellar career as a Member of Parliament from 1946 until 1974 and then as Chief Minister of the State of Terengganu from 1974 until 1999. His last posting was as the Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Djibouti from 2000 until 2005.


Tan Sri Abdul Kader Talip


Born on January 23, 1929, Tan Sri Abdul Kader studied theology, philosophy and da'wah at Al-Azhar University. He had also spent a total of eight years studying Islan in Makkah.
Career wise, Tan Sri Abdul Kader has served various Malaysia federal and state government department, among them as Deputy Director General of the Federal Territory. He was also the first Grand Imam of the Putrajaya Mosque from 1999 until 2001. He is also a well known religious speakaer on radio and television as well as having served as an advisor to various agencies including Tabung Haji and several private companies.

Che' Ismail Abdul Halim

Born on July 3rd, 1940, Che Ismail completed his undergraduate studies at the Al-Azhar University before doing his Master's degree at United Kingdom's Exeter University. He has charted an excellent teaching career where he had served as the Director of the Sultan Zainal Abidin Islamic College in Terengganu from 1998 until 2002, as well as Head of the Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilisation at UKM's Faculty of Islamic Studies from 1994 until 1995.
