GAZA EMERGENCY APPEAL:OVER £530,000 RAISED

A big THANK YOU to all our donors to raised an astonishing £200,000 for our live appeal on Islam Channel yesterday night (and still rising!!). In total you have raised over £530,000 which is a fantastic reponse to our £2 million emergency appeal.  You have shown your compassion and commitment to the people of Palestine. Muslim Aid will ensure your generous donations will be used to provide food, blankets and medical supplies which are so desperately needed.

Aid agencies were given a three hour window yesterday during which the conflict was paused  in order to deliver emergency relief. The pause in fighting allowed aid workers to recover dead bodies, treat the wounded, and gather much-needed supplies in and around Gaza City.

Over 650 Palestinians have died, 2,800 have been injured and more than 13,000 people have been internally displaced as they flee the bombings and gunfire..

Muslim Aid needs your support to help ordinary Palestinian civilians who have been severely affected. Hospitals in Gaza are overflowing with those injured, with many running out of basic medical supplies. Thousands more people are suffering from fuel, food and water shortages.
